  The Toronto Poly Social moved to a monthly schedule in April 2010 when a new host/organizer took over (after a long-term lapse in regular leadership & attendance). The Social has existed for several years in various incarnations (different schedules, locations, times). It moved to the current location in November 2006 and has previously been weekly or bi-weekly there at various times. It is still tenuously connected to TorontoPoly.ca and the related mailing lists despite the lack of regular updates to that website. The current average attendance is about 15-20 people each month. The Poly Social runs every 1st Monday of the month at The Imperial Library Pub at 54 Dundas Street East (Dundas & Victoria, one block east of Yonge) from approximately 6:30pm to 10pm. It's a drop-in event and anyone who is some type of open/poly (or just friendly to or interested in poly) is welcome to attend. We usually take over the couches (near the fake fireplace on the main floor), grab food and/or drinks, and sometimes engage in such wild activities as interesting conversation, random board/card games (if brought), taking advantage of the free Wi-Fi, or a cuddle fest on said couches. Anyone may attend.

We serve the polyamory community at large in three ways: First, we strive to create a supportive environment that encourages the discussion of responsible, intimate, caring, multi-partnered relationships and related issues. Second, we encourage our members to participate in the collaborative process of community building. This can be through online discussion on our forums or offline through member-facilitated social gatherings. Third, we provide opportunities for members to participate in activities that can benefit the polyamory community at large. For those members that are able and wanting, we provide resources to help them educate the public about polyamory and relationship choices, as well as advertise our group's existence in a public way so as to encourage additional members.   Berkshire Mountain Polyamory Network was spearheaded by Tara Shakti-Ma in the fall of 2011, as a result of her move from New Hampshire (and PA before that) to the area, in order to begin a "nesting partner" relationship with her long term love. The group is being publicized throughout the area. In the 2 months of it's existence (as of this writing), the Yahoo group has over 30 members, and the Facebook group has over 25. We represent a broad range of ages and interests, though interestingly many of us are active in social and ecological concerns. All the things that are key to a monogamous relationship are vital to polyamory. Polyamory is not out to replace monogamy. Just as monogamy doesn't "fit" certain individuals, neither does polyamory.

  Founded in 1999, the Center for Sex Positive Culture (CSPC) is a nonprofit, membership-based community center. It was established in a bold attempt to create an environment that was accommodating to sex positive communities and transformative in all areas of human sexuality, and has succeeded in creating that environment.   The Poly ForUUm of Greater Seattle is an official local chapter of Unitarian Universalists for Polyamory Awareness (UUPA), a new nationwide organization for people interested in both polyamory and Unitarian Universalism. For the year 2006, Poly ForUUm will be making a monthly tour of the Unitarian Universalist churches in our region. Each month on the third Sunday we will attend the worship service at a different UU church and meet for lunch afterwards at some convenient nearby restaurant.
